TOWNHALL MEETING – ONE OF A KIND!
Ladies, share your voice and be a part of NAWA’s internal revitalization. It’s a “town hall” style meeting where the board will introduce changes to the membership, election process, and committee structure and then open up for discussion.
Everyone is invited to bring a beverage or snack to share. For simplicity’s sake, if your last name ends in A – L bring wine or a beverage and if your last name ends in M – Z bring cheese or an appetizer.
Please come and get all your questions answered, share your ideas and suggestions to make NAWA stronger and live longer.

Featured Humanitarian Project
Solidarity for African Development – Beekeeping Project. Volta Region.
In February, NAWA topped off our funding cycle with a bit of honey and supported this innovative project in Kpando.
From the scant beginning of four beehives and training by a Korean team three years ago, the Kpando Dafor community in the Volta Region now has 40 beehives. Because the women of the community do the work, they manage and market the beehives and honey and thus are able to add substantially to an otherwise scant income. With our donation the community will be able to construct 25-30 more beehives and invest in protective clothing. We are happy and proud to contribute to the training and livelihoods of women connected with Ghanaian honey.
And it’s sweet, too!!!
